The Old Bakery Restaurant with Rooms is ideally located in the Uphill area of Lincoln, close to Lincoln Cathedral, Castle and many other points of historic interest in the Cathedral Quarter with it's popular mix of original shops, cafes and public houses which are to be found on the Bailgate and Steep Hill. The surroundings at The Old Bakery are rustic, relaxed and informal.

The name "The Bronze Pig" is Sicilian born Pompeo's brainchild uniting 3 facts. Pompeo's Italian origins, the celebration of a friendship and the fact that the restaurant is based in Lincoln.

The Bronze Pig is a Michelin Guide restaurant in the Historic quarter of Lincoln, just outside the Castle walls. The food is creative fine dining, perfectly paired with wonderful wines recommended by the in house sommelier. The food is sourced locally and from British shores wherever possible.

Located just a stone's throw away from the castle in uphill Lincoln, our Lawn Cafe is housed within what was once the cookhouse of the former 'Lincoln Lunatic Asylum'. Originally built in 1819, the former hospital now house the fully refurbished and carefully designed Lawn café which incorporates carefully restored, original artefacts like the old theatre spotlights and some amazing décor such as a life-size killer whale. Yes, life size! Lulu as she is known, is made from old car bumpers and coffee machine parts and suspended from the rafters.  

For coffee lovers, we also created a fantastic viewing area so that you can see right into our roastery. Watch our master roasters at work, smell the delicious coffee roasting away and enjoy a cup of the finished product while you do!
