The Rising cafe is unique in the fact that it is run solely by an incredible team whose lives were once ruined by homelessness, prostitution, drug and alcohol addiction. 100% of all proceeds go towards the charitable work of Betel UK whose mission is to help those struggling with life-controlling issue find true freedom.
They pride themselves on serving good quality, homemade food, using as much locally sourced Lincolnshire products as possible. They serve classic British Afternoon Tea as well as alternative ones; including an American Tea with mini hot dogs and a Mexican Tea with quesadillas. They also serve a wide range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Everything is homemade including their cakes, and their scones are freshly baked daily.

Now in it’s 140th year, The Lincolnshire Show is one of our county’s flagship events and truly has something for each of our 60,000 visitors to enjoy.
See spectacular entertainment in the Main Ring, shop delicious local produce in the Food Court and explore beautiful blooms, local art and handmade crafts in the Lincolnshire Lifestyle Marquee. Take a seat to watch top chefs in The Lincolnshire Kitchen, immerse yourself in agriculture with a packed timetable of livestock and equine classes and head to the Agricultural Lines to see machinery from past and present. History & Historic Attractions
International Bomber Command Centre
The IBCC opened to the public for the first time on the 30th January 2018. The site includes the UK's tallest War Memorial, The Spire, which stands out on Lincoln's skyline at 31.09m tall, the same height as the wingspan of a Lancaster Bomber.
The Spire is surrounded by curved walls which carry the names of 57,871 men and women who gave their lives whilst in the service of Bomber Command during WW2. The Spire is set in 10 acres of landscaped peace gardens, one which represents Lincolnshire's contribution to the war and one that recognizes the involvement of 62 nations in Bomber Command.
The Chadwick Centre provides all our visitor facilities and hosts three exhibition galleries covering our core themes of Recognition, Remembrance and Reconciliation. There is also an education suite and facilities for corporate hospitality.
Children's trails and craft sessions available. The site is free to visit but tickets are needed to gain access to the Exhibition.
